As a result they appear, if this article is correct, nigh-on impossible to implement. Air freight costs are expected to increase “tremendously”. Part of the problem is a new “25% of the value” processing fee, non-existent yet essential forms, and a $5,000-per-item fine for airlines if any restricted item is found on board. Actually, the list of problems goes on in what has been called government “foolishness”. If you are involved in the Bahamas, be aware.
