Amazon: 2023 letter to shareholders
Published today, 11 April, the full letter can be downloaded here.
Amazon seems to have burrowed beneath Elon Musk’s hyperloop plans with its own vision of tube travel after it was reportedly awarded a patent for a network of subterranean tunnels to deliver an ever-expanding catalogue of goods.
Of course, as Geekwire – the publication that noticed the patent, which was filed three years ago and granted late last year – writes, this should not be surprising given the retail behemoth has looked into virtually every other mode of transport, from drones and planes to bikes and self-driving trucks.
Despite this, Geekwire believes the plan to be ambitious, even for America’s largest online retailer.
