First reported in French newspaper Le Monde, French anti-corruption officials this week raided the offices of diversified French group Bolloré, investigating claims that it was involved with Spanish group Pefaco, which has been under investigation for four years for alleged corrupt practices in Africa. Prosecutors are trying to determine whether Bolloré Group’s African logistics arm was helped to win a concession for the port of Conakry in Guinea, granted in 2011, and another for the Lomé Port in Togo in 2010.
