Cargolux has appointed a new regional director for Africa. Jonathan Clark will join the Luxembourg carrier in February, in Johannesburg.
He is currently at DB Schenker, as director air freight, sub-Saharan Africa. He has also done a stint with Qatar Airways Cargo, as regional manager for Africa, and also worked for Lufthansa for nearly 20 years, where he was latterly regional director logistics southern and western Africa.
He said: “Having spent three years at DB Schenker, this exciting opportunity at Cargolux presented itself and I am very much looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
In a statement, Cargolux said that Mr Clark’s “industry experience and knowledge of the African market will give Cargolux’s business in the region a significant boost, and underlines the carrier’s commitment to excellence in service”.
