Although logistics companies are reporting that things are picking up, US holiday sales growth will be slower than last year, according to Deloitte. While last year the market rose 5.2%, this year growth will come in at a more leisurely pace of 3.5% to 4%. Online, however, tells a slightly different story with forecast growth of 8.5 to 9%. And the whole holiday “sales pie” will reach about $965bn.
