We do keep banging on about it, but there again it does keep happening. The FAA has imposed yet another fine on Amazon for breaking dangerous goods rules. In Amazon’s favour (if you are being generous) is that it takes a while for these fines to be decided, and this latest is for a breach of regulations a year ago. So perhaps Amazon has learnt? Apparently not. A quick search shows that it was fined $91,000 in 2014 for breaking dangerous goods rules in 2013, not the only fine it received that year. Suggesting it hasn’t learnt that much at all. But then perhaps a fine of $78,000 might not be sufficient disincentive for a company of Amazon’s size?
