The London airport debate rarely focuses on freight. But this Bloomberg article looks at the difficulties UK exporters have, using the Scottish seafood industry as an example. That industry, of course, must fly to Amsterdam, which has a connection to Inverness – where Heathrow, operating at full capacity, does not. Meanwhile, today came the news that 23 UK chambers of commerce have also backed the expansion of Heathrow.
