XPO Logistics has appointed Ramon Genemaras to the newly created position of chief transformation officer.

Mr Genemaras will “lead the ongoing transformation of the company’s global business processes with a P&L focus”.

Earlier in his career, he spent around 17 years with General Electric Company in executive roles in its motor manufacturing, commercial transformer and industrial solutions divisions.

XPO Logistics chief executive Bradley Jacobs said: “Ramon has an outstanding track record of building highly functioning, multi-billion dollar customer service networks in the industrial and logistics sectors. His appointment underscores the importance we place on our global synergies and our culture of continuous improvement.”
