All the deepsea terminals in the port of Rotterdam could face 24-hour shutdowns over the next couple of months, as members of the FNV Havens union have voted to go ahead with industrial action after terminal operators Hutchison, AMP Terminals and the consortium that operates the recently opened Rotterdam World Gateway all refused to guarantee dockers that there were would be no job losses for a nine-year period.
