Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is continuing to operate regular commercial flights to Japan, despite the country’s recent ban on chartered flights from Thailand.

The Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) issued the ban following a report from ICAO’s Universal Safety Oversight Audit Program (USOAP).

But THAI President Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, has made it clear that the action does not impact regular commercial flights to Japan, and that all regular commercial THAI flights continue to operate as scheduled, according to the previously approved 2015 Summer Traffic Program (TPI).
