Terry Unrein has joined Crane Worldwide Logistics as vice-president global sales. Mr Unrein, who joins from SEKO where he spent two and a half years as vp global sales, previously spent 11 years at EGL and CEVA, which also saw some staff move to Crane.
“It’s kind of like coming home,” said Mr Unrein. “There are so many people there that I have had the opportunity to work with, and so many people that I have heard nothing but great things about. I’m looking forward to reconnecting and assisting in driving more business into the Asia tradelane for Crane Worldwide.”
Mr Unrein’s role will involve driving global sales to boost new business, from his base in Los Angeles.
Over at CEVA, meanwhile, Philip Griffiths has become contract logistics business development director for Iberia.
Mr Griffiths joined CEVA from Kuehne + Nagel, where he was lead logistics solutions manager in Spain for six years and Spanish business development manager for the previous seven years.
He replaces Izaskun Barquin, who has become director, global business development for the consumer, retail and healthcare sectors.
Mr Griffiths said: “CEVA is in a booming moment here in Spain and this is an exciting opportunity to join a team of people who have really deep technical knowledge of contract logistics operations.”
