A new air cargo service between India and Afghanistan is being planned, to avoid putting trade through Pakistan. The two countries are planning to improve Afghanistan’s connectivity to key markets, without dependence on the port of Karachi. Infrastructure will be set up at Kabul and Delhi, while Kandahar is being considered as a hub for shipping fruit to India. The carrier is expected to be an Indian cargo airline.
